GrowthPoint Inc., was founded by a team of sales and marketing professionals who have extensive experience in manufacturing, services, eCommerce and software industries. It is our mission to cultivate the sales and marketing effectiveness of our clients. Bruce Hammond, Founder Before founding GrowthPoint, Inc., Bruce was President of the North American Automotive and Robotics Division for ABB Corporation, one of the world's largest automation manufacturers. As president, Bruce grew the business 43% in a down market. With a laser focus on targeting sales resources, aligning them with the targeted segment buying cycle, the result was the ability to competitively deliver solutions. During this time he lowered overhead costs by 30% utilizing continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma. Previous experience includes 24 years at Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley, where Bruce held positions in operations, sales, alliance management, channel development and sales process management in multiple business units. He also managed the implementation of a comprehensive point-of-sales and CRM system. During this time, Bruce built a reputation of aligning the company to the key customer segment and building processes which continually improved financial performance of the organization. In his last role at Rockwell, Bruce was VP of the Process Business, one of four key growth areas for the company. In this roll he grew the business at a 32% CAGR by focusing resources on the defined target and implementing an integrated marketing and sales effort.
Greg Wilkinson, Partner Before joining GrowthPoint, Greg was the Manufacturing Industry Marketing Manager at Microsoft, responsible for increasing market share through focused lead generation and sales tool development. With a background in sales, he created compelling and unique marketing campaigns which built the foundation for a successful sales cycle by connecting customer requisites to business value being delivered. As a leader in the industry marketing team, Greg earned the “Thought Leadership” award for implementing new approaches, testing and measuring campaigns, and creating exciting new sales tools. While at Microsoft, he also held a sales position where he was responsible for selling server based products to enterprise customers. Before joining Microsoft, Greg was employed at Rockwell Automation. In his 16 years at Rockwell, he advanced from various sales positions to alliance management, business development, and marketing management positions. During this tenure, Greg was recognized for his creative approach to solving problems, as well as for his keen leadership and his inspirational ability to collaborate with multiple teams. During this time he won the “Salesperson of the Year” award, being recognized as Rockwell Automation’s #1 salesperson in North America.
Janice Harter Janice brings with her an extensive proficiency for developing and implementing innovative marketing programs. Her considerable knowledge in cultivating process methodologies, strategy development and lead management of client demand generation campaigns is invaluable to her role with GrowthPoint. In addition to her intrinsic campaign capabilities, Janice has developed remarkable savoir faire in direct marketing, relationship marketing, lead management and industry marketing. Previous experience includes over 15 years of substantial expertise in marketing leadership positions, developing and executing business-to-business marketing and lead management strategies for Microsoft, Great Plains Software and IBM. In one project, by implementing new processes for lead management and distribution, Janice enabled the department to save over 25 hours per week in people time. This allowed the business to utilize their limited people resources in more profitable areas. In another venture, Janice managed a cross company team to develop and implement a tightly integrated and innovative marketing campaign targeted at a sensitive market resistant to change. The program generated $9.5M in pipeline revenue within 6 months of the launch.
